A strikingly pretty black roan female who recently arrived from Germany. Kelly did not travel alone; she was bred to Bink vom Tuberslag prior to departure and is carrying the H VI litter with her. She is just a pretty girl and very talented as reflected in her performance scores in the field, water and bloodwork. She was trained and tested by Thorsten Reck who is recognized as one of the most accomplished trainers in Germany. Kelly is directly related to our legendary Stud Dog Astor v. Eichenloh 2nd place International Hegewald and handled by Sabine Reck. Astor was the cornerstone of our breeding program for several years before retirement. We purchased Kelly the moment Thorsten contacted us she was available. It was interesting to see she carried the temperament we deem important in our breeding program. Kelly is a loving, cuddling, get in your lap kind of girl. It is mutual, when you see her, you want to hug her and she you. But “TICK HER OFF” and she becomes a Drahthaar. When hunting she leaves the “Lovey Dovey Stuff at Home” and does what she is bred and trained to do. She is going to be a great mother.
